Information regarding your visit
The castle can be visited during opening hours, between 10:00 and 18:00 every day of the year, including the Holidays. The last tickets are issued one hour before closing time.
Individual visits
You can enter the castle grounds after purchasing your ticket. Children under the age of 14 can only visit the castle under the supervision of an adult. School and university students between the ages of 14 and 25 will receive a 50% discount upon presenting of their student ID. Entry is free for people with disabilities. The residents of Bonțida benefit from discounted tickets upon presenting their ID.

The castle can be visited free of charge by those holding press cards, upon prior notice.
Group visits
In the case of organised student groups (min. 20 people), entry is free for 2 companions. In the case of organised groups of adults (min. 20 people), entry is free for 1 companion (tour guide).

Bonțida is located at a distance of 35 km from Cluj-Napoca, on the route towards Gherla-Dej. The castle is located in the centre of the settlement, opposite the Reformed Church, next to the school. It can be reached from Cluj-Napoca via European road E576 and then national road 161 (Gării Street).

Free parking is available to visitors in front of the monument. Tourist buses and motorbikes are also accepted.
Dogs and other pets can only enter the castle grounds on a leash.
